Fake Swag?

I was going to write paraphernalia in the title line, but swag sounded a little more fun....

When you look at some of the Rolex-branded accessories on ebay (i.e. golf balls, passport holders, notepads, wallets), is there any way to verify if they are authentic? Is there any way to verify if they are an item that Rolex even made?

I'm looking for a few small Rolex-branded "I Love You" gifts for DH. The things I'm looking are under $100 or $200, so I'm not worried about losing money on a fake. I'm worried about accidentally giving an "I Love You but this is FAKE CRAP" gift.

Without specifics, it pretty hard to tell you anything of an item....

Maybe post some links of what in particular you are looking at!

Again, it's not the price; I just don't want to give a knock-off gift.

Correct me if i am wrong, but isn't it true that Rolex doesn't actually manufacture any of that kind of stuff, but does allow certain companies to put their name/logo on the items?

Re the knife, our very own Greg (Mosco) here at TRF has had them for sale for less:

You might want to PM him and see if he currently has any.

No Rolex doesnt make that stuff. They license their name out to companies that manufacture it like alot of other companies do.
