I think if you have to post on here to get some opinions, personally, I would wait. When you get an opportunity that you cannot even think about for 10 minutes, THAT'S what you pull the trigger. I absolutely love the Pepsi...especially if it's in excellent condition...

Sleep on it and get back to us!

Eric, if you are not sure then don't do it. The Pepsi is a great watch but it is not for everyone. Just like the Root Beer is not for everyone (though it's one of my favorites). You should ONLY buy a Rolex when you HAVE to buy a Rolex. You have doubts and like they say "when in doubt, do without"

Look at some of the "collections" on here and see what you love. Then, wait for what you love to come along. Sure, a friend has a Rolex for sale at a great price, but if you don't love it - you don't love it. Move on.

When I first discovered Rolex I thought the pepsi was not for me and was sort of cartoonish if that is a word! Now I OWN one and could not be happier. Keeper for me. If it talks to you get it. For me the attraction got stronger after bought it.

All very interesting comments but some relevant info on condition, age, services history, price point, etc would be more relevant IMO.

WIDR Eric a 'looks good do it' is not really empirical.
