YM ss/pt or DJII ss/wg white stick
Hi guys,
I'm going to pick up either a Yachtmaster or a DJII next week as I'm looking for a lighter dial to mix things up a bit... The YM is 2010 and the dj is new but both similar price.. Assume both the same in this case I am a bit of a flipper.. And a little concerned about resale value in a couple years On one hand I really want a clean white watch... But also think the look of the ss/plat is pretty sweet IM ON THE FENCE Just wanted to see if anyone had any particularly strong opinions either way Thanks guys |

What other watches are in your collection?
Personally I'd get the DJII, depending on the dial

I'd get the Yachtmaster as it's much less common and more stylish than the DJII and it's a luxury sports watch.

So far:
Pam00000 Gmtiic Black milgauss I love the look of both, and the white dj reminds me of my old all-white aquatimer which I loved. The yachty is a bit different and might tick a couple more of my boxes I think.. Hmm... The YM will also have the old clasp but I can get over that |

YM! Not a big fan of the DJII as it's one of the few watches I won't buy.

I'd go DJII since you already have some sports watches in your collection.

Very tough decision with the way your collection is put together. You've got the GMT IIc for the "Sport" class and you've got a Milgauss for a dressier look. I would still go with the DJII though because that will be your #1 dress watch if you go with it. While the Milgaus can be considered "dressy", I see it more as a casual watch with the bolt hand and the color combinations. The DJII is pure class. The YM is awesome, but I would go with a Blue YM if you were going to go for a YM....
Good luck either way!

The DJII is a gorgeous, classic watch but I'd go with the Yacht-Master. IMO just has more character than the DJII. It fits my lifestyle more since I'm a little casual and sporty.
Good luck! |

Cheers for everyone's input guys. Choosing between the two was doing my head in... So much so that I couldnt do it!
Instead I have gone a bit left field, perhaps impulsively and snared the green sub to arrive Friday hopefully Cheers again |

You could have the YM and put it on a brown croc strap to dress it up real nice. Two for one! But the Hulks a good choice too.

Aside from the difference in size of the DJII, I like the YM.
