I have never had a problem with this either. I always ask and get told it is ok. I guess they realize that it will normally end in me buying the watch. Lol

Beauchamps in New Mex is awesome. Best AD in the US if you ask me.

I don't take photos inside the ADs I visit. For security reasons I'm amazed they even allow it at all.

it depends, if you "run the show" at an AD, ie buy your watches there/they sit and BS with you for hours, then they could careless, and i've done just that but i could see how most, esp. the "stuffy" ones wont allow it = which is BS

stuffy ADs are the worst, they hide the best watches in the back and act like a 5% discount is a favor

Oh well no big deal.
Raleigh is smallball (im in charlotte nc which is smallball as well) im shocked they said no. Are they really gonna pssoff the buyer of the one rolex per month they sell?

the one advantage of the smallball towns is first crack at everything new.

I asked him if I could take pictures because I really needed to go away and think about it and the pictures would help me make the choice. If he'd declined I would of said bye and left. I understand not wanting to have customers taking pictures of cabinets but taking a picture of a watch on your wrist is completely different. Every watch I have seen online looks pretty different when seen in person and on me. If an AD can't acknowledge that then they can't have my business.

That or be prepared to have me come in 5 times to try them on again and again. If I get even a sniff of attitude from them about me trying on a watch and not buying it then we're done. Lots of AD's around, I can be picky.
Exactly, well said.
