Another "Bought a Rolex on Ebay" Thread
Hi everyone! First post.
So I just bought my first Rolex on Ebay. Went with a Cellini. Of course, I have the usual questions. Is it real? Did I get a decent deal? But I would imagine the answer is, get it authenticated once you get it in hand. So, my question is, how do I find a reputable place that authenticates Rolexes? Would any Rolex dealer be able to check it out? Or do I have to bring it to some sort of authorized service center? Thanks! Ladies Rolex Cellini Classic White Face |

Well first check with an authorized dealer it's a white gold case check the back with a loupe and examine those hallmarks closely.

Your ebay seller has thousands of feedback responses and all 100% positive. If you look at the history you'll see a lot of jewelry pieces with brand names, though not a lot of things in your price range. If this seller were scamming, they're doing an awfully good job at it, but for your own peace of mind, since you're in NY, why not stop by the Rolex home base in NYC and see if they'd accept it for a service estimate. If they do and issue the estimate, you're good to go.
