The Daytona with white dial and polished links is quite dressy and I would argue it is more dress/sports than sports/dress so hes got pretty much all the bases covered other than a pure dress watch which if you only have 2 is too limiting. You need 3 then.

Yes. I have been looking around for something on a strap, but nothing has caught me yet. Maybe an IWC port 7 day, but it is soooo thick.

Yes, but I do agree that a strap watch would be nice to add. Problem is I also want other bracelet watches that are probably higher up on my list of priorities at the moment (two tone GMT, tt yatchmaster.. God the list goes on).

Maybe I'm the only one, but I clicked on the thread title and quite frankly was a little disappointed to see a picture of two watches.

They are very nice though.
