My new Rolex and a couple of questions please. 1. What is the best way to clean my Rolex, i have seen people putting them in soapy water on you tube etc but how do i know it is watertight ? 2. There doesnt seem to be any adjustment on the bracelet, do i need to have links removed ? Thanks in advance |

This watch does not appear to be of Rolex manufacture, given the size of the crystal's LEC.

Laser Engraved Coronet in the crystal at 6:00 position. Very tiny and usually very difficult to see. Also, the bracelet should have 4 (if I remember correctly) fixed links on each side, with the rest being removable through threaded link pins.
Was this watch not bought through a Rolex AD?

Here are a couple of authentic LEC's. You might want to have a watchmaker remove the case back and verify the movement authenticity.

This GMT looks perfectly fine to me!!
As far as cleaning I would use anything you desire it's your watch but IMO I would just use water and soap on the bracelet and just use a apple wipe cloth for the head of your watch at least until a couple of years use!! Just wear it it's a great watch and enjoy!! Cheers!! David |
