Well I can assure you a little bit of plastic will make no difference to the value of your watch.And speaking for myself I would never pay for any bit of plastic thats normally discarded at point of sale, try any AD he might have several in his waste bin that might fit.

I suppose it's true some of us watch collectors are weird! Like you, I prefer to keep all packaging that comes with my timepieces, i.e. the Patek cardboard box/plastic, the AP plastic bag, etc...
