16030 Jubilee Bracelet to Oyster? Need some Help.
Hi All,
I bought the Mrs a 16030 datejust for Christmas on a 62510H jubilee bracelet, with 555 endlinks. The Bart Simpson "smilie" reminds me of when Homer bought his wife a bowling bowl for Christmas...in no way similar to my purchase Here is my dillema; she is not a fan of the jubliee bracelet at all and wants an oyster band. I'm planning on trading into an explorer i with this at some point in the near future, so I would like to do my best to make sure whatever oyster band I buy is as close to period as possible. Below are my questions, any help would be appreciated. I am on the ipad, and can't figure out how to upload a picture, but I will do so later today. 1. The bracelet is fairly stretched, but all original. What is this worth? 2. Should I be concerned with which specific oyster band, other than non fliplock clask goes on? 3. Does anyone have a oyster that they would want to trade, plus cash? Best, Ron |

First welcome to the forum. 1. Perhaps $200. 2. IMHO, not really since it's just for aesthetics vs. originality. 3. WTB/WTT is not allowed in this forum section - you need to check the Classified Section rules and post WTB/WTT when you're allowed.

Thanks for the quick response. The non flip lock bracelets seem hard to find for less than $600. My trade line was meant ask a joke, apologies. I will put up a proper post for the sale/trade of the band in the right section.
I was at Bergdorf Goodman in NYC yesterday, and saw they are selling 80s datejust's on distressed leather bands for 3k...had to laugh. |
