If we can put a man on the moon we should be able to do a two-color ceramic bezel. As for me, I already have my 16710 Pepsi, that's the only one I wanted or will ever want. it has a proper red 24 hour hand, too - I understand the reason for the green hand and lettering on the GMTIIc, but I think it's out of place on an all-black watch.

It needs a red GMT hand though.

To make a two color ceramic bezel in one piece is years away IMO.

Why not a 2 piece bezel? Cast the blue and red and have a seam in between

Well...because the look of the Pepsi is dated. (Don't hate, I love mine...)
And, that would not be a very durable construction method. It would look half-assed to boot.

The only folks pining for a Pepsi are the folks on these boards. Mass consumers / target buyers for new models want bling, diamonds and precious metals.

How about that bi-color style is over and done with...and Rolex has moved on to selling watches with massive mass appeal?

Furthermore, I love the original Pepsi, but if you take a hard look at the way the numbers are blasted in the ceramic insert, you will understand how the same approach would not work on a bi-color ceramic version.

Or not.
You forgot moonphase, tourbillon but I guess since it's quartz you don't really need tourbillon.

Ceramic Pepsi will need a red or possibly blue 24hr hand to replace the green?

I doubt we would see a ceramic explorer 2. I do expect a lot from the Daytona.

I was told Rolex haven't come up with a way to bond the two ceramic halves together.

My money is on an updated Daytona. As for Rubber straps I remember seeing a thread that Rolex patented a rubber strap. Who knows

More Daytona models with Cerachrom bezels. Maybe some green accents to denote 50 years (a regular production model, but the hype-engine will still go into overdrive)

Would like to see a completely new Daytona, but doubt this will happen for some time (but who knows)

More DJ/DJ II dials. Perhaps a Jubilee bracelet option for the DJ II

Light a candle for the Pepsi and Coke. That style has passed. It's only forum fools like us who pine for them.

Maybe a ceramic 40mm Daytona in SS. If Daytonas were moving to 42mm the new ceramic/ gold models would have been bumped in size.

Rolex is too predictable.

40mm would be disastrous on a new SS Daytona. The current ones just look and feel too small, particuarly in comparison to the rest of the current range.

Look and feel small because they're actually 38.6mm, not 40mm. If you pick a Sub you can see the difference right away.

Cheers
