LV love...

Had it almost 3 days now. Appears to be running -1 to -2 secs a day. Hopefully that will even out in a few weeks- still amazing accuracy. It's obviously much different than my TOG. I find the TOG more comfortable as the super jubilee bracelet is the ultimate in comfort. Being my first sub (third rolex), I love the maxi dial and green bezel. The bezel almost makes the watch appear larger than the standard black bezel. The bracelet feels nice and solid, but the clasp sucks for a watch of this caliber. That is truly the trump card for the GMT II. Will I keep it long term? Dunno yet. Is it fun to wear- hells yeah! I have to sheepishly admit though, I still favor my TOG. Take that, all you size queens!

I am happy for you, you have a great collection. I want the LV Sub really badly. I can't find one and I want it from a Rolex dealer. I bought a Turn-O-Graph today (white dial) so I am like you in the way that I love the T-O-G. Now if I can just find an LV as well. Someday, I hope.

Congrats on the TOG. Pix please? That is the most underrated watch Rolex makes. And good for us as we don't see ourselves on every corner. IF I need to go back to being a one rolex man, the TOG stays!

I would also. That would most likely mean that the current LV would be discontinued. Upside- the current models would most likely become collectible. The downside- I would want to buy one!

Don't worry about the clasp. It has served the Roles Sub for years with great function and effectiveness. You will rarely hear of a malfunction, and I have never had any of my clasps malfunction. So worry not. It is meant to be simple so that it can be unclasped if necessary on a dime. Good work getting this baby and welcome to the green club.

The LV is a great choice--I am hoping they will continue to be available brand new for a while. Regardless, I hope you continue to enjoy it.
