New (to me) 14060 W Sub
Recently purchased 14060 W Series (1995)
Its very worn and tatty but its going to be my daily wear from now on, so I hope it takes a beating as they look better a little rough round the edges. Ordered a NATO strap for it. and its older brother.. 18k 18038 1985 Day Date with Presidential strap, now resigned to the safe. |

Welcome and congratz. The "worn" look is the best look for Submariners imo.
My recently departed two liner (U serial) was my favourite for years. Had black, gray, and military green Natos for it. When ever I had it serviced I'd demand NO POLISH, they would always try to talk me into it, and probably thought I was crazy, lol. Kept telling the RSC I love the "character" the swirlies/scratches gave it. |

Congrats! To my eyes, anyway, it doesn't exactly look too worn or tatty.

The gold DD is a bit ostentatious for my line of work. I do wear gold to work occasionally but not often. The steel DD shown will be worn occasionally.
Also I don't feel too safe walking around London at night with 10 grands of gold around my wrist. |
