Rolex Daytona Dials
Hi there,
I'm a new member, so firstly hello! I have a rolex daytona, zenith movement, serial W (1994 I think). I found a lifecycle chart that said it should have a tritium dial, but actually has a luminova dial (black with white sub dials). 3 questions for any experts out there: 1) Is this right i.e. have the dials been changed? 2) Will this limit the value of the watch on future resale? 3) Does anyone know how to get hold of original tritium dials? (I can't find anywhere online) Cheers, DJ |

Welcome to TRF!
1) Yes, that does sound like the dial's been exchanged sometimes after 1998 when Tritium was changed to Luminova and later SuperLuminova dials. A pic of the dial/watch would be nice, though, to be sure! 2) Yes, probably would have an effect on the value. 3) Tough one! But try setting www.classicwatchparts.com (Mr Michael Young) or www.vintagewatchparts.net/shop Good luck!
