Thoughts on GMT 16750

Hi all,

This is truly a serious illness.. Just got my first incoming 1680, and now am looking at 1675s/16750s...

Have a possible deal regarding this 16750 for USD 4490.. It is a 6 mil serial that comes with 78360 bracelet.

I know not the best pictures.. But would appreciate any thoughts/advice on this deal.

You folks are the best!

Cheers

Based on the limited pictures, it looks good.

The case appears nice and fat (need other pics and angles to determine otherwise); and nice looking insert. Nice patina. Can't tell if the hands (some corrosion) are original to the dial but match fairly good. The "second hand" appears as if either tritium is flaking or maybe it was re-lumed but based on the one picture is hard to tell. Maybe if you have a chance to inspect it in person, take a loupe and check it out.

Price is subjective, I do not know what country you are buying it from, but it sounds reasonable. Also take into consideration the service history. Also you do not mention anything about accessories so I take there are none.

Thanks for the quick reply Timetogo!

Yes, no accessories, and service history is unknown

That will be a great companion to the 1680. It is also a quickest which is handy. The pics aren't realty good enough to comment much on the watch. I Likee the patina and the faded bezel.

Looks fine. Price is right about in there. Maybe haggle a bit.
