I got picked when I was young. I'm going to say maybe 1970 or 71. My best friend and I drove from our homes in the D.C. suburbs up to Baltimore. I wonder why nobody ever asks how to defend against this type of pickpocketing when they have an expert answering questions. I'm sure they will answer, "don't carry anything or wear anything you don't want stolen". But that's not always possible. Is there anything we can do to make it more difficult?
