Deepsea Challenge Visits SoCal

The behemoth Rolex Deepsea Challenge (12000 m depth rating!) will be visiting the Baron & Leeds Rolex Boutique in South Coast Plaza Orange County CA 2/15/13. You'll be able to see one of only a few manufactured to survive the crushing depths of the Marianas Trench. 51 mms in diameter & 28.5 mms thick, the Deepsea Challenge eliminates the need for dive weights! Take a peek here for more info on the watch: http://www.rolex.com/en#/world-of-ro...psea-challenge

This may be an "invitation only" event, so contact store manager Mehrdad 714 241 8088 for more info about attending.

Pretty sure it will never be a production piece; it's just too big. But, stranger things have happened at Basel!

Typically, prototypes don't go into production. We'll see though!
