Where do they come up with these absurd prices (same for PP)? Arguably the same can be said for lower priced models as well, but when I see watches in the several hundred thousand, it just amazes me how they got to that number. I bet it's a bunch of guys in a room, "hey, let's slap on some absurd price and see how many we can sell!"

My AD tld me last week that they just sold a $300K AP ROO Tourbillon. They wanted to show it to me while i was buying my FC, i just refused to even look at it. But it seems there are plenty of people willing to pay these amounts, so why not price them that high. Its a price for ultra exclusive art I guess.

I can't allow myself to try it on. I'd want to get it for sure. If i decide I want something, I usually get it. And I don't want to spend $300K on a watch right now.
