Opinion on a 1967 Oyster
Hi,
I'm newbie when it comes to vintage watches. I've tried to become educated prior to purchasing, but it seems pitfalls are everywhere for someone new to this area. I'm considering the watch listed below. I'd be interested in any opinions regarding the condition/price for this watch. Any questions that I should consider asking the Seller? All comments are welcome! Thanks http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=281058641673 |

the experts will be along, but the dial has damage on the edge between 5-6, the tritium marker at 3 is missing, the date wheel has been replaced and the original bracelet is gone, case has been polished and has pitting on the case where the o-ring fits

That's a bit overpriced. I would be spearing to pick-up something like that between $1200-$1600 depending on condition.
