Lume and black numbers/markings = an impossible combination?
The black Arabic numerals on my AP Safari made me think if it is possible to achieve. Or black numbers/markings and lume is still an impossibility?

Yes it's possible but it's more of a dark grey lume in light. Glows slightly less intense in the dark. Breitling and a few other brands have them. As for pitch black lume color, doesn't exist.

Makes me think why AP did not use it on the Safari and the Navy?
