It depends who you consider the real James Bond. I remember seeing many posts either on a watch forum or a link from a watch forum that had the entire history of Bond watches. I can't remember where this was it was almost 2 years ago that I saw it. I'd try google.

My memory might be playing tricks, but I'm sure that in the mid-1960's a Pepsi GMT briefly featured in a Bond movie - it was that appearance that set me wanting one and I went on to buy about two years later.

Rolex Sub 5513 is the TRUE Bond watch, IMHO.

But James Bond wore various brands (click) during the ages, reflecting not only style changes but also in more or less subtle ways showing product placement (e.g. the less subtle example in the latest Bond movie where a dialogue is going something like this: "NICE watch! Rolex?"........Bond: No, OMEGA!" ).
