DSSD vs Blancpain Fifty Fathoms -- Pic?
Anyone have a picture of a DSSD next to a 45mm Fifty Fathoms they could post?
Does the FF wear smaller than the Deepsea? Thanks! |

Went to the BP shop with my DSSD on and compared to the 2....for me, the only noticable difference was the height of the watch on the wrist. IMHO, the BP doesn't 'feel' as big, if that makes sense.

I've never tried them on at the same time.
FF did not feel huge on my wrist though, when I had it on.

I tried them both on in Vegas last week and was not nearly as impressed with the FF. the look, the strap, etc. whereas when I had on the dssd, I just couldn't find anything that bugged me (and its less expensive).

OK - thanks for the info guys.
Anyone have a side by side pic with a FF in it? Maybe next to a SD or new Sub-C? |

I've tried both, but the Deepsea IMHO was a bit top heavy and wobbled.
Although, I should have added, I like it a lot more than the FF. |

Both are about the same size looking down on the wrist but teh DSSD is much thicker, so wears bigger overall.

Great pic. I swear my 114060 looks a bit smaller compared to the FF sport for some reason...

I've owned both at seperate times.
The DSSD wears bigger in my opinion. Definately a height thing. The FF wears very nice on strap. |

Great pics Mike
The Blancpain wears remarkably small for its size, and on the sailcloth strap it is very comfortable. The short lugs and tapered case profile help reduce any notion of bulk, as Mike's pics show perfectly. All you really see of the FF from above is the dial and bezel (and that wonderful fluted crown) The DSSD is a very different experience on the wrist. Tall in proportion to its width, and on a bracelet, so difficult to compare the two. Properly sized it is comfortable, but the slightly top heavy feeling never quite goes away

The FF is huge. Tried a few on in Vegas when I thought I wanted one
