You have the choice whether you like count-up or count-down. It doesn't require higher math. I prefer elapsed time, so rotate my bezel triangle over the location of the minute hand. Then I read the elapsed time by using the bezel numbers, and not the dial. If you want to just look at the bezel triangle as the "finish line", subtract the length of the timing interval (say 15 minutes) from 60, and point the bezel's 45 minute marker over the minute hand. Now when the minute hand points to the bezel triangle, time is up! Too bad I didn't read this thread until I got to the office. I took some watch pictures of my Turn-O-Graph this weekend - the "before" pictures. I'm sending it to the Dallas RDC for a month at the spa, in preparation for sellling it.
