Is the 422 an SE or regular production?

I've heard different things and am wondering about future availability.

Thanks,
Dave

Regular production, however small.

It seems to be tricky to get hold of. I saw a PAM423 in my local AD's window and went in to try it on. Fell for it there and then but decided to go home and do a little research as I hadnt really looked at watches for 12months+.

I then realised there was the PAM422, almost identical with the PR on the back and so went in to ask about that instead.

To my surprise not only did they not have a PAM422 but they had 7 back orders already for it. They expected 2 or 3 a year max, so it was on face value a 2yr wait for a PAM422 or take the PAM423 now. OK, on that basis the PAM422 would probably make for the best buy long term, but I decided that I couldnt be bothered waiting 2yrs for a watch as I would almost certainly change my mind in that timeframe. Life is too short so I decided to go back to my first love, and I am now a happy PAM423 owner.
