Shame you haven't got a NATO in your regimental colour's!

My NATO is from my old army regiment, The Royal Anglian Regiment.

Whatever you wear will look good.

Another vote for the Sub ND on Oyster bracelet. Thank you for your service to our country, and enjoy your military ball. Where is it being held? Also, I see two markers on your Iraq Campaign Medal. Two tours? Thanks again for your service. You have been on the point of the spear and we appreciate your sacrifice.

Thanks for serving! Your uniform is awesome! I have no experience at such formal affairs, however I have always heard that a dress watch (silver color) and black leather strap were the appropriate items for the wrist at such affairs. We however live in a world now where grown men and women can be seen constantly engaged with their cell phones (at events where one would think such distractions are inappropriate) just like teenagers. I think the gods of protocol could overlook the presence of a fine Rolex Sub with an oyster bracelet on the wrist of one of our fighting men.

From my understanding a dress watch shouldn't have more than one complication (usually the second hand). I think the ND submariner fits the bill.
