116710LN Very Rare ???

Have a look at this :)

http://cgi.ebay.ie/Rolex-GMT-Master-...QQcmdZViewItem

In the description

"Why so rare?: When Rolex launched this model in Europe they planned to wait for the new credit card style papers but demand was so high that less than 100 were put out for purchase with the old style hole punched papers, old GMT Master booklet and old style Green hologram case back sticker. This quirk of history makes this watch a very very rare item and will pay dividends in years to come in terms of value. NB in all other regards this is the new GMT Master 2 LN. "

If this is the case I better take mine off and wrap it in cotton wool !!

Well, the question was not if it's genuine or not but whether the configuration SS GMT IIc + old-style certificate + green sticker is a rarely seen one.

And I would say that it indeed IS a rare occasion.

Would it add much to its value??

I doubt it!

I am actually disappointed that I got the old booklet rather than the new one. I was concerned that the watch I got from "Automatic Art" had the old book. At least now I know this was a common practice for a while. Thanks, Bo for some reassurance.

I'm new here and new to Rolex but the date window maginification doesnt look 2.5 times maginification. It looks more like 1.5 maginification. So I would say it could be fake?
What do you all think?

Nope it's real, There are actually some Z Series SS GMT-II Ceramic Bezel models. I believe they were only produce for a few months w/ the Green Stickers before production moved to the M Series w/o Green Stickers.

PS - The seller's feedback is legitimate. 100% Positive. Remember on eBay buy the seller's reputation (feedback) not the actual photos of the items.
