1st watch of the New Year
I technically picked this up from a friend at the end of December, but its close enough to register as my first acquisition of 2008.
A lovely Speedmaster Pro with the vintage 1171 bracelet. My watch box has been yearning for a Speedie since I sold my last one. I think I'll keep this one around for awhile! |

It's a beauty.
I'm still burning from letting my Speedy go in 2006. Just waiting for the right one to come along.

Excellent! It's a beauty. A speedmaster will probably be my next watch. I want a clear caseback version although I feel a little guilty about the diversion from the original. I just really want to see it tick.

Beautiful.
Pardon my ignorance, but is that an automatic or a manual winder? In my searching online, I haven't been able to find any in that configuration that were automatics? |

Very nice. A true classic.
Can anyone comment on the moon to mars version? Is it worth getting?
