Hi,

I found this Rolex Precision 18K when cleaning up my grand father's belongings after he died.

Anyone has some more info about the watch? Year of production, correct name/type of the watch, the original type of watchband/strap which this model was sold with?

I would like to wear this watch, but the crown of the watch is missing, so I'm unable to wear it now.
Anyone knows the part number of the crown for this model?

the style looks very 1940s to me. possibly earlier.

It's a 1946/1947 Rolex 4330 very nice watch!

Good luck in finding a crown! (no idea about part numbers)

Seeing from your caseback i think 4330 is whats written there that is your model number whilst 158301 is your serial number putting it at 1942-1943 (not sure)
That is just my guess im sure other vintage experts will rise up

Put a generic gold crown on it and wear it, you'll find the right crown, but probably only when you are not looking. I wouldn't be surprised if the original crown was gold-filled, many of them were for durability.

Your watch is NOT an oyster model. Thus the model red number and the serial number do not mean much. Get ANY gold crown that sits flat against the case and that's it. If you find one with a Rolex crown on it (now or later), use that one. But for now, any $2 crown will do just as well.
