Is the S/S non date going to be discontinued
I saw a couple of listings on E-Bay where it was stated in the ad that the non-date sub is going to be discontinued. Has anyone heard this to be true. If so what would be the replacement?

Never heard of it being discontinued. For non chronmeter certified non sub date, yes.

It is pure speculation by sellers hoping to hype up the value of their wares.
It may be discontinued but when? I would guess 3 to 4 years at the earliest.

Rolex has just issued new non-date sub which is of chronometer grade so I think they will continue to produce it ...

No one can know, but I'll tell you anyway: maybe...maybe not.

Discontinue the ND-Sub....
Why would anybody make such a statement.. Ths Sub, Air King, and the Explorer share the movement so that isn't going away any time soon. The 40 mm case is the standard of the sport line, so that isn't going away.... There just isn't anything to signal its demise....or anything else except perhaps picking up some of the bracet upgrades.. and down the line maybe a new bezel or hairspring.

The 14060M NON COSC is already being phased out.
The COSC version of the 14060M is the successor, and there have been no (official) reports about it going to be discontinued.

It is not. They just went to COSC and would not have wasted the resources for a watch they were going to discontinue.

None, whatsoever. It is the same movement: Cal. 3130.
Only difference is the COSC testing of the new 14060M and corresponding "Superlative Chronometer, officially certified" writing on the dial.
