How do you make the divers extension open on a Sub?
Hi, been looking at my Sub LV which I have not managed to get resized yet and was reading in the little booklet about how to get the divers extension to work. It did not seem very clear about pushing on the little O on the underside of the clasp. As I don't want to get to rough with my new friend I gave up after a while. I went searching and found this article which explains all but how hard do you have to push on the O to get it to pop open??
http://www.rolexreferencepage.com/articles/14.html Please could you give me more info so that I can open the bracelet so that I can make use of the fine adjustment? Thanks for your help, Peter |

You have to give it a FIRM push, directly on the "O". The link has to make the "click" sound. Then you are sure it is released. To put it back again, fold the link over the bar inside the clasp and push it into place again with a firm push.

You should be able to see the hinges that have folded over themselves. It just add an inch or two. Just push it as you pull the opposite side.

Sorry to sound like a noob but there is no chance that I can dent something just with finger pressure?
It's like most things once you have done it you wonder what all of the fuss was about!! Peter |

No worries! You won't be able to do any damage with just your fingers.
You FIRST push the "O". THEN you PULL the diver's extension link out in its full length. By that time you can adjust the bracelet via the pin that fits into the clasp holes. The link you provided yourself really explains it all.
