HTC One

I am really impressed with the camera on this phone and I am almost ready to say it's the best I've seen so far!

Here is a shot I took with it this morning.

It's only a 4MP camera but the pixels are a lot larger than what is found in camera phones with sensors of the same size, allowing for 300% more light and much more detail.

I like it!

Nice! Add a macro lens and it could be your new full time watch photo-taker!

It's also an absolutely GORGEOUS phone, made from one solid piece of aluminium.

Here is a pic I took of it last night, with the iPhone 5.

The full 1080p screen is amazing but one of my favourite features must be the HTC TV app, which transforms your phone into a universal remote control.

I programmed mine to control my whole home theater: TV, AV Receiver, DVD, Cable and DVR. Awesome!!

Not only that but if you plug in your cable provider, zip code and your favourite shows, the app will allow you to go straight to those channels and set reminders for when they come on. Think of it as a One Touch Dial for contacts but with TV Shows instead.

Really cool phone, hits the US market in about 9 days.

How big is the HTC One? I have the HTC Incredible 4G, came out last July. I use it for everything: business, public, and personal e-mail; website (CMS) modification on the fly (also verifying orders); can do banking but don't; daily tasks, calendar and, of course, research; can control my new dslr remotely; camera 8mp: can upload pictures to blogs or e-mail after I tweak them on the phone. And, finally, I can make calls with it It is such a reliable phone, unlike the Motorala I had. BUT, it is small. It's a four inch, so I'm having issues sometimes missing letters and numbers while tapping on the screen. After almost a year, I'm looking for something bigger, which means an out-of-pocket purchase What will this cost when it arrives? I hear it's limitless.

4.7 inches screen, 1920X1080.

The bezel is VERY thin so the whole phone is smaller than one might expect. If you have seen the HTC One X, it's about the same size. Slightly smaller than a Galaxy S3.

I believe it is 199 for 32 gigs internal with an upgrade or new service agreement. AT&T has exclusivity on the 64GB version and that one is 299 with new service or upgrade.

Chip,
The quality of that pic is great for 4MP.

Keep in mind that MP have absolutely nothing to do with quality of the image, just with the actual size of the photo.

In all honesty, the less pixels you cram onto a sensor the better quality the image will be. A bit counter intuitive and consumers tend to respond positively to "more is better".
