Rolex Datejust question...

Hello all, a new forum member here. I'm planning on looking at a DJ(stainless steel)or DJII next week. Is the DJII significantly more expensive since it is larger? What type of discount could I expect from an authorized dealer? Thank you.

The 36mm DJ has been made since the war so they're cheaper on the used market. New they cost a bit less than the DJ2.

Discussing discounts is frowned upon. Go to the AD and discuss it with them.

Welcome to the forum.

And yes, Datejust II is more expensive than Datejust.

If you're looking like for like (i.e. steel bezel 36mm DJ vs. steel bezel DJ II), there's not too much in it. The big price jumps come when you opt for the white gold fluted bezel or diamonds

Welcome to TRF!

You can find pre-owned DJ-II's at very good prices from trusted sellers here on TRF.
The 36mm DJ will cost a good deal less if it is 10 years old or older.
