For me its Outlaw Josey Wales, Pale Rider, High Plains Drifter, Joe Kidd, and Unforgiven. But as Dan said, I don't think he made a bad western movie. He plays a bad ass real good! :)

He made many great westerns.
I'd start with Unforgiven - winner of four Oscars.

Since the thread has shifted toward bad Clint movies, there are a few to add: The Rookie, The Dead pool, Heartbrake Ridge, Tightrope, The Eiger Sanction.
Still, he is legend both as actor and director with many great film. Where Eagles Dare is still the best men on a mission kind of movie IMO. |

Josey Wales and Unforgiven. Had the pleasure of meeting Clint at the Oscars the night Unforgiven was nominated for best picture. The X and I were in attendance and we were introduced to him before it started. Talked for only a minute or so but had a chance to wish him luck with his film and said it should win. It did win Best Picture that night.

Unforgiven.
Unbelievable movie. Sort of the anti-western western until the end. The ending is incredible. |

Perhaps a season or two of Rawhide, the early tv series that started it all for Clint.

The one I most enjoy is the Outlaw Josey Wales, I don't know how many times I have seen it but probably in double figures. Great film.
