Well at least we all think there will be a new Daytona!
I think 40mm SS, ceramic bezel, green or red detail on dial/chrono hand |

Wouldn't it be a Daytona II or something, as opposed to a Daytona anniversary model since the Daytona has never been made in 42mm?
So if this is indeed the Daytona anniversary model, would that mean that 40mm Daytonas would be discontinued? |

Rolex put the Daytona on the Cosmograph dial around 1963 in the USA only when it began sponsorship of the race. The Cosmograph was 50 years old in 2010. Not saying they won't plan something special this year, but.....just saying.

Very interesting.....I don't know what that says about the recent 40mm ceramic Daytonas, but, a 42mm platinum Daytona sure would be something.
Just a tiny bit more exciting than an SS YMII. Under 35 hours to know. |

I would be pretty disappointed if they decided to do the "three years to SS" cycle with this. I was thinking it should be SS now with the recently updated Daytona with ceramic bezel based on this established convention...
However, the 45mm Speedy that was just teased by Omega might lend credence to the upward sizing... Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2 |

Teaser is up on Rolex.com, so it's definitely platinum, white gold or SS.

I'm sure you've all seen this by now, but I thought I would post screenshots, nonetheless.
