I respect the other names in horology, but it is my considered opinion that none have a better history and tradition than Rolex--longer, perhaps, but not better.

Rolex stands for a lot more than just watches and that's something I can appreciate.

As for future watches, I can only guess.
Couldn't have said it better really. I started off with a very nice Citizen Noblia, I've had several nice Seiko's, a solid automatic Invicta sub look a like, and finally my 16610 that I bought last October. I've never been happier about a purchase in my life. It was everything I had hoped for and then some. I realize there are more advanced movements and collectible watches but my P serial 16610 with the lug holes is the dead sexiest watch on the planet to ME, and I've learned that I'm the only one it really matters to. I recently bought a Seiko Sportura to wear as a back up, nice watch but a complete waste of time and money. I can't bring myself to wear anything but a Rolex. Here are my only two watches, although I do think I am going to go for a Tudor Chronograph. I'm going to sell the Seiko on eBay and buy a Tudor as a second watch. I wonder if I'll wear it?
