Fading and Dials?
Does anybody know how fade resistant the newer enamel dials are?
Because the older modells really faded after years, even without direct sun on them all the time? |

The recent enamelled (glossy) dials are not known to fade, but some dials of the 16800 and 168000 Sub Dates (glossy versions) had a defect in the paint composition, making the dials show very fine cracks, popularly known as the "spider web" effect.
