quick visit to the RSC

I noticed that there was a speck of dust on the date number "26" at the bottom of the "2" for my EXP II. I went to the RSC in Toronto yesterday and they were able to get rid of that pesky dust particle. I waited around 20 to 30 min for it.

The reception is temporarily at the lobby and not on the 2nd floor as it usually is since they're doing some work on the main reception area. I was there just last month and they had renovated the 2nd floor reception area. I guess they're still doing more work to it.

Thanks.. I did ask them how can a speck of dust can end up on the date wheel and the lady at reception said its possible it could have gone in through the crown tube.

I was kinda surprised at that. Since I just got the watch early this year, I didn't really notice the dust until last Friday when I was taking a closer look at the date and just by luck, the dust was on "26".

Ha, "the old dust through the crown tube problem"

I also have an explorer with a small speck of dust near the 11 marker. Not that I am saying that it's an epidemic. But that is a funny comment, couldn't possibly be a QC issue......

If it is only a 30 min job, think I will visit the RSC myself! Thanks for sharing.
