Not £4850, you mean £5850?
Shatty Dayt at £50K is way too high for me. |

Thats a decent price, thought they might go north of 6 because the problems of bonding two colours is oh so tricky etc etc.

The YM II SS though very nice it is costly at £12500. I can buy other brands for that price and get a mcuh better watch.

Tempted with the GMT even though my first Rolex I only got last November.
Should talk sense into myself really. The only difference is the blue half & blue hand compared to mine....

Fooo... That YMII is beautiful, but steep, 4k more than the current rrp of any other steel model, coming in to AP territory there...

I really am a fan of the SS YM2 but I don't know if I can justify £12.5k. At that price range i'd also have to consider AP and PP and i'm not sure which would win!

Only PP would be the Aquanaut and AP would be a RO or preowned ROO or ROC. Im putting my money towards a ROO.

I just saw this report this morning. They have Baselworld pics with price tags on a couple of the watches.
baselworld-2013-rolex-novelties Prices in Swiss Francs (CHF) so currency converter may be useful. |

I may be deranged but imo £12.5K for a non vintage SS watch is nuts, perhaps I'm just getting too out of touch with new prices these days

Personally anything over £6000 for a stainless steel watch is crazy. Really don't think I can afford or justify a new Rolex from now on.

The other good news is that Rolex are saying they want to deliver the first of the GMTs and YM IIs in June

Agree, the rolex prices in the UK are simply too much these days. My wages have not kept up with them to justify getting one, it makes a tudor black bay look ideal if only they sold them in the UK.

For the price of the SS Yachtmaster you could probably get a TT RG Yachtmaster II,i prefer the TT model myself.
