Please don't ask... I have done some really stupid things regarding my watches...
First Panerai 8 Day GMT... less than 24 hours. Thought it was too big for my wrist! Bought it back again a month later!!! Who cares if it looks too big... it's an 8 day GMT!!! First SS Daytona... less than 24 hours. Thought... wait I can't even read the time on the sub dials...??? Bought it back a few days later.... Who cares about the sub dials... it's a Daytona!!! Please don't judge me, I know I am watch NVTS!!!

16610 - picked it up for a song, had it for about 3 months, moved it for a $1,000+ profit. Have regretted the sale ever since.

In some ways I'm a flipper; I'm on approximately my 50th motorcycle and probably that many cars but I've only bought 3 Rolexes and have kept them all.

I have a rule that when I buy a watch and I think I might trade it in future to move higher up, either in brand, precious metal or complication, then I have to wear te watch for at least a year, otherwise I dont buy it and that has led me to take very calm, calculated and rational buying decisions and so far no remorse afterwards.

16600. Took a few days to sell but decided to sell with in the hour of receiving it. Found it to be too bulky for my liking since i have a very small wrist.

TT Daytona. I only had it for 30 days before I decided I didn't like it.

I believe there were a bunch of flippers when the DSSD first came out ...apparently it came out in Canada before it came to the USA and there was amajor rush to flip this watch in the USA...

M serial LV. Loved it in the photos but just didn't have the pop I was looking for when I put it on. I think it was 2 or 3 days of ownership.

I feel unworthy to even be on this forum...I have one Raymond Weil Parsifal Chrono that I bought new first year the line was out (in the mid-90's), and my trusty 214270. Been contemplating next purchase for two years.
Life in the slow lane, (to paraphrase The Eagles), I guess!

Three weeks for a Anniversary Submariner. I just could never warm up to the green bezel. I thought it would work. I really tried but it didn't.
That is why I am nervous to pull the trigger on a BB. Don't want to go through a similar experience.... We'll see, the red should work better though.... |

The original green Sub LV, not the full-green "Hulk'' version but the one before with green bezel/black dial.
Kept it for about 6 months but realised (very much like the Daytona) I had bought it because of the hype and not because I really liked the watch. |

Have you ever seen the Seinfeld episode, where they all bet on who will be the last to...... pleasure themselves (sorry if not allowed). Kramer gets in, and Jerry says "you ?, you'll be out before we get the check!" Well that was me with the DSSD, gone in a matter of minutes. For a small profit, however...
