Yachtmaster II review in WatchTime Magazine

Did anyone see the review for the YMII in WatchTime Magazine (February issue with the TAGs on the cover)? They raved about it, gave it 95/100 rating. Said the movement was perfect and it kept almost absolutely perfect time.

I know the problem most people have is the aesthetics of the piece, but it really made me appreciate the quality of the product. Not that I could ever afford to buy one, but would love to get my hands on one just to check it out in person one day.

Well, if I am not mistaken, I think James "Gedanken" posted recently that the YM II movement has been said to be not that perfect as you should imagine.

Yes, Got the magazine Saturday. No wise remarks on the looks, excellent rate performance and features.

I love everything about the watch except for the busy bezel. Love the blue ceramic bezel and gold inlay though (especially on that gold bracelet). Bodes well for what a future TT blue Sub. could look like with more subdued graphics.

I guess the jury is still out of the movement, the reveiwers seemed to adore it. The watch does have some very clever functionality for a mech. watch.

I was at my AD last Friday and was able to play around with a YM II. It's really quite a watch! It's big, bulky, and heavy as heck! $47,000 is a bit much though
