Sojourn at Helvetia
I started to feel the need for a proper watch late last year during a previous swiss retreat and ended up with a Ti Tissot T-Touch Expert model. What a great primer watch for me. It brought to light some personal habits that tend to scuff and scratch the clasp and bezel. I learned the ins and outs of airport security, beach etiquette etc..
It suited my lifestyle extremely well though and i made the needed adjustments. I knew i would probably be going Rolex for my real keepsake and was on the fence about either DSSD which fits the tall T-Touch profile somewhat, the timeless Submariner or the GMT. My choice is showcased below, i will try to add money shots to this tread before my departure. Thanks all for your forum contributions which made researching easy and fun. |

Great watch and great pics. That came oh so close to being my first Rolex and a part of me still wishes it had been.
