Buy new 380 or per owned 210 or 183 ??

I'm searching for my first Panerai, which will be a second watch, not a daily wear. I'm focused on the radiomir due to size and slimmer silhouette. That said, I don't want to go full out and drop $5k or more, but would like to have a piece that will retain value in the future. And I understand I'm talking about entry level Pam's here, which will probably not retain all value.

So a brand new 380, showing the logo, or a per owned 210 or 183??

Thanks in advance.

Most of the entry pams will retain their pre-owned value better than the higher priced watches. I went with a 210, just yesterday. Good luck with the hunt.

210.

Buy right and you will very likely not lose anything on a flip.

My pre-owned 183 recent purchase "O" model (and first Pam for me) and only a couple months old when I got it.

PAM 183 for me... the 210 is too simple, the 380 lacks the sandwich dial... so the 183 is perfect. Here are a few photos of mine to help persuade you.

Since it's your first Panerai, I agree with the lads above me that a sandwich dial's the way to go so that means a 210 or 183. I also like simpler dials with Radiomirs so the 210 would be awesome. On the other hand, a seconds hand can come in handy... which brings me to the 183...

380 gets my vote or a 183 G as black seal is at the bottom of the dial
