Blancpain How It's Made

Saw this on TV few months ago, and came across it again today. It's pretty cool to watch a Turbillon be created.

Thought I'd share.

Just amazing. I just wish that any watch I buy would be made in a quaint little house like the show in the hills of Switzerland. Unfortunately.. All in mechanical factories. Dreams are free

Very cool. To date I believe HIM has covered Blancpain and Panerai.

I read that Blancpain only use one guy per watch to assemble the whole watch from start to finish like back in the day. Pretty neat if that is correct.

That is correct - you can get the bio of your watchmaker and send it back to that same person when service time comes around.

I've been falling in love with the (more obtainable) Fifty Fatoms. Then again, there are so many watches from so many makers. I fall in love until the next on comes along.

Is it frowned upon to buy a BP and then add the guy who made the watch on Facebook?
I know I'm in the minority but I think the new Bathyscape looks really interesting.

Only if you start posting pointing pics with the watch on his timeline while pointing at his house.
