Icon2 Bigger & Better

The first Datejust II I have bought, Love the bigger face at what I believe is 41mm. Looks so similar to the Milgauss, which is what I thought it was at first glance! The look of this one is much much better than the original Datejust IMO.

Without the luminous colour schemes and skew second hand, it looks a million times better than the Milgauss and because it's so much thinner, it's no doubt more comfortable too!

here's mine

Love this watch, not as bulky as a classic Sub and not as "office" as a Day Date

Looks great! love the domed bezel. Lets not get ahead of ourselves and put the original DJ on the back burner, as it is probably one of the most well known, long standing, and iconic watches of all time. Doubt people will say that about the DJII, 40 years from now.

But enjoy! it is a gorgeous piece!

It is actually a soft silver dial that photographs sort of white. Love the thing, what a great waste of money. I work hard making America love Oregon Pinot Noir so a treat like this is a lot of fun

Wish I had a picture, but as I gaze at my diminutive SS DJ, with the elegant WG Roman numerals on the rhodium dial, I unequivocally disagree - I do not think the DJ2 is MUCH better than the original DJ ! After all, it doesn't even have it's own unique model name. And the DJ is, as the OP pointed out, the original

That said, sticks on the white dial is a very nice look.

Love those Datejusts with the smooth bezel, almost gives it an upgraded Explorer I kind of look!

Nice, but better than the classic DJ. I think not!

I agree. The DJII is just too big for what it is. Much prefer the classic DJ.
