The AP is nice, but for everyday all around watch, go with GMT.

I'll go for the AP RO first, then save for the GMT2c next.

I have owned the IIC, but would choose the AP even though I do use the GMT function quite often.

For me it's the GMT all the way. Don't get me wrong the AP is an amazing watch. Really can't go wrong either way. Good luck and post pics when you get it!!

GMT II C. To be honest I don't find AP attractive at all.

I've owned both. The 15300 is in a different league. But you won't go wrong with either.

+1.
Never liked the look of the AP. Just my opinion but very 1970's looking. GMT2C IMHO best sports watch in current Rolex lineup.

If you need a beater then get the GMTII. If you want something a little more exclusive then get the RO. I have both and they're both great timepieces, but I've yet to see an RO coming the other way, whereas GMT's are like Camry's at a suburban drive-through.

AP ... Use it as a daily beater. Now that's cool. It was meant to be a sports watch ... Don't worry about scratches .... Because that's not cool.

......Well you asked for it...If we are not 'pulling punches' I think the AP looks like a bolt with screws in...might be a super watch but looks awful. (In my humble opinion...)

PS...Every soccer player I ever see are ALL wearing APs with their Beats headphones...thats enough put me off.

If that's put you off AP then Rolex is def out for you. All the Kardashians have worn them and now they all wear either the YG or RG DDs or YG Gmtcs. At least sports players have some talent and deserve their success.

Lesson - never worry about what celebs are wearing otherwise you will only have Casio and Timex to choose from.

AP is a whole new level. You may want to look at the 15400 as well.

X2..... Horrible design, unless you like the '70's look...round dial on a hexagonal case planted on a rectangle shaped bracelet?...still I'm glad we are all different, otherwise the world would be a tad boring!
