There are so many fantastic watches out there and not enough money or wrist time to wear them all but I know we are all having fun, in our own ways, attempting to cover all the bases!!!

Take it easy.....Leo

I was kidding about the "desired effect." Im Happily married. What is the matter with some people on this forum? Humor people! Not confrontation at every opportunity. It was self depricating humor implying the 422 did not work for me. It was a freaking joke tinger. Lighten up dude.

Hey Andy,
I meant it as a joke too.. what I was trying to convey was that I'm sadden/upset to see that a PAM 422 wont have any affect wooing women.

Since I am married I guess I better not buy a Panerai. I don't want the women flocking to me.

oh brother, was that article meant to be ironic?

i'm afraid that anyone that actually follows that "advice" won't impress business colleagues or in-laws, get approval from watch snobs or score women. well, i guess they will show wealth, for whatever that's worth.

At least the watch comments were reasonable and semi informed, will undoubtedly inspire me to snap up a $1M watch in the hope it too helps lure the ladies......

"A man in Switzerland once told me with grave seriousness that “you aren’t taken seriously in business in Europe if you don’t have a good mechanical watch".

Really? A guy in Switzerland, home of high-end expensive watches with equally expensive movements, tells you that you aren't taken seriously in Europe if you don't have a mechanical watch? That is complete B.S.

I didn't even read the rest of the article after that first sentence..
