Hoping the join the family soon!
Hello all, new to the forum I am from Chicago and finally making the decision to purchase my first Rolex, I have looked at the classifieds on the forums and I am looking for a Submariner Two-Tone Blue Face Model 16613. I will be calling Howard Frum from what I have read on here he has a great selection of watches and very close to my work. Looking to purchase a well maintained used watch hoping that my 6-7k limit will be enough to afford me this luxury, My question is are there any members from Chicago that are selling a Submariner Two-Tone Blue Face I mostly see ads from California and I am still a bit hesitant with the whole “online” buying experience. Thanks again for any input.

That is a great model to get! Loved mine when I had one.
Howard Frum has been mentioned positively - most recently here: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=238842 But there are trusted sellers here that can ship to you overnight - 16613 listings are easy to find by searching the classifieds.

There are many excellent and trusted sellers here on this Forum so you can buy with confidence from one of them. Otherwise you can look around and check out the AD's in the Chicagoland area and see what they have available.....seeing that you want an older model you will just have to be patient until one shows up!!!
Good luck.....Leo Btw.....welcome to TRF and have fun!!!

Thanks for the information, doesn't look like any local Chicago members are selling.I did call Howard Frum and he said he had a few Submariners in stock with the same two tone that i prefer. one he quoted for $5,700 and as he said "almost brand new with paper work" Z serial number from 2006?? for $7,300. Just a tad bit more then i wanted to spend i will hopefully go tomorrow during my lunch and take a look at his selection and make my decision from there. Even seen a few on "Over Stock.com"
