Hi everyone- I will be in London next week with the family. Any advice on shops to check out while there- AD for new and reputable vintage dealers ? Much appreciated!

For vintage dealers, visit the Burlington Arcade in Mayfair. The selections are awesome, but the prices will make you faint.

There are some good private dealers in London. Search over on VRF and you'll find some. However, don't expect many _ if any _ bargains (especially at the over-priced Arcade). The best prices for vintage pieces are in the States, I've found. Going the new Rolex route through an AD can be OK in London/Europe, depending on the deal, exchange rate and the VAT refund when you return to the U.S. Happy hunting!

Grays Antiques Market, 58 Davies St, London, Greater London, 020 7629 7034

Which is almost opposite Selfridges which has a large watch department too, only new though, not vintage.
