Newbie: Questions about some brands

I am looking for a watch that i want to look nice but is going to take a slight beating at my new.
I am a home inspector 2 brands that i have found and have questions about are
Invitca and Boluva.

Whats you alls thought on them knowing that they arent high end more mid-lower end.

What are the PROs and CONs? Is there another brand you would recommend or a watch really trying to stay under $700 USD and wanting more of a sport watch i guess.

Thanks for the responses and you time :)

Look at seiko's in that range, much more bang for the buck than invitca or boluva.

That price point is tough. Run "Hamilton Khaki" through the eBay machine and you'll find some good watches at that price. Good luck.

If you an afford it, I'd stick with brands that have some real horological creds like Hamilton, Seikos, Tags, etc...

For that kind of work I'd suggest Luminox or Casio G-Shock. Both are plastic and can take a BEATING. I'm an engineer that works on machines sometimes. I wear a nice watch to work but I have a Luminox in my desk drawer that I wear during most days. I just hammer watches reaching into metal cabinets and using tools etc.

I would also suggest a G-Shock. Perfect for a job where you'll be banging around. And they're respected, worn, and sometimes collected by WIS. There are 100 different styles to choose from, including digital displays, analog displays, rubber straps, metal link bracelets, ect... Non-WIS wouldn't care about your watch regardless so don't worry about impressing them. Should you still want a traditional style watch, go with a used Tag Link or Aquaracer. Hope you find the right watch for your needs!

Agree with all of the above, you don't need to buy an invicta or boluva for the budget.

Seiko and Hamilton for sure.

Just found this Seiko SGEG23 all the reviews seems to be rating it pretty good on most sites, Amazon had it the cheapest for only $99
I like the size and styling of it

The biggest problem with Invicta is their bands break. Then since they make like 100 models at any given time you cannot get replacement parts.

I really like the Hamilton Khaki. Victoronix is also quality for the price.

Ya i have found some excellent watches thanks to you guys. Now time to narrow it down and find some at some retail stores to try on. I am a bit pick because i am a pretty small guy with small wrist so big watches like G-Shocks or Rolex Subs look more like a dinner plate on my wrist then a watch.
With that being said a found a couple Hamilton and Seiko watches I really like so now just got to find them and see which one feels right to me.
Feels so weird looking for watches like this, my old job i wore double monks, dress pants or chinos, and a tie. Now i am wearing tennis shoes, khaki shorts, and a polo lol

Looking forward to see what you have decided!

There is always mid size 36mm from Rolex, keep that in mind! ;)
