A glorious day yesterday & amazingly the 1st customer of the day was sporting a TT Datejust, saw my Sub Date & struck up a chat...said he bought it 9 years ago from a Pawn shop for a mere £1,100 GBP (no paperwork etc) had it all serviced back then by RSC for around £250 ish, what a bargain..left with a handful of records & a plan to ask the wife for permission to buy a Sub Date

Just curious as to what you deal in? I used to collect '70 Reggae - Studio One, Rockers, Black Ark, etc and Shoegaze - Spacemen3 and Spiritualized having an unhealthy amount of the latter. Also quite a few house "12s from the late 80s.

Most stuff so long as it sells but stay clear of Dance/House & that Drum & Bass stuff, not an area I know much about & very little demand in my neck of the woods, London on the other hand is a totally different market of course. 70's Reggae/Ska etc is thin on the ground & when it does surface is usually pretty worn with play & poor handling..
