16520 Question - Strap on a stainless steel model
Hello,
I would like to purchase a strap, buckle and end pieces that will fit a Daytona 16520. Preferably OEM - would the OEM strap and components fit my watch? If so, How difficult is it to find such a set up? Thank you in advance! |

The strap and it's case end-links are not compatible with a SS Daytona.
The strap fitted gold Daytonas have a case that is machined under the bezel to fit the endlinks which are non-removable without the proper tools..

There are quite a few threads on this topic if you do a search. I was doing the same search yesterday in fact. It is possible to obtain a leather strap (either OEM or generic via Ebay etc), either purchase a gold Rolex deployant clasp (extrmely expensive) or use your existing one with a slight customisation to the leather strap, and there is a TRF member (Etur) that makes end links to provide the gold Daytona effect. This would create the same look of the gold Dayona's. Hope that helps.

Thank you very helpful. But seems like the difficulty is contacting Etur as he does not post on this forum and his inbox is full. Not sure if he posts his email?

I would say you might do well with a strap that did not come from Rolex.
The look may be reminiscent of certain luminary Daytonas... But you could get close with the OEM strap and deployant clasp and just skip the end links.
